Dry bulk company 2020 Bulkers saw its result improve significantly in the beginning of 2021 compared to the same period last year. The progress in ships earnings have continued into the second quarter, according to the company.
In a challenging period for the dry bulk market, Tor Olav Trøim's dry bulk operator 2020 Bulkers was able to deliver a million dollar profit. Following delivery of the last of a total of eight vessels, the company's focus is now to create returns for its investors.
Dry bulk venture 2020 Bulkers, which has Tor Olav Trøim as founder and major shareholder, does not exclude the possibility of a future sale. "If this company does not exist one year from now, that is not a problem," says the CEO.
Norwegian 2020 Bulkers confirms that the company is determined to seek a listing on "a recognized stock exchange." The company also announces changes to senior management and a double-digit million dollar capital injection.
