Helge Lund, former CEO of Statoil as well as BG Group, is switching to a new job as consultant for a US-based investment firm. The Norwegian oil man left BG Group in February following its merger with Royal Dutch Shell.
The Britsh lament the fact that Shell is currently in the midst of acquiring BG. The country's government does not really have much room to act, though it has met with BP several times to express its attitude toward the transaction.
