Atlantic Petroleum nominates new CEO

Atlantic Petroleum has found a new interim CEO after Ben Arabo resigned in late September. The new CEO will particularly focus on the Faroese oil company's strategic opportunities after several tough years, says the chairman.

Atlantic Petroleum, which is listed in Norway and Copenhagen, has hired Graeme Fawcett as an interim CEO after current CEO Ben Arabo resigned in September, announced the small oil company from the Faroe Islands.

"We are very pleased to welcome Graeme Fawcett to Atlantic Petroleum. The company has gone through a period where the focus was to monetize the remaining main asset and to manage liabilities," says chairman Birgir Durhuus in a press release.
