Two people injured in serious accident on Maersk rig in Norway

Two Maersk Drilling employees were injured in a serious accident on the Maersk-owned drilling rig Maersk Interceptor which is currently working in the Ula oil field off the coast of Norway for company Aker BP.

Two people employed by Maersk Drilling were injured Thursday in a serious accident on drilling rig Maersk Interceptor. The rig is currently deployed in oil field Ula off the coast of Norway for oil major Aker BP.

One person fell overboard and was subsequently pulled up, while the other was hit by a falling object, according to Bloomberg News.
