Norwegian offshore shipping company GC Rieber Shipping has won a case concerning mass layoffs that was tried at the court in Bergen.

During the offshore crisis, the company found itself so strained that, in the fall of 2016, it closed down its internal crewing company and laid off 66 full-time employees.
