Norway's Shearwater wins contracts in West Africa

Norwegian Shearwater, owned by GC Rieber and Rasmussengruppen, reports an improved market and expands its order book with several new contracts.

The Norwegian seismic shipping company Shearwater has won two contracts in West Africa, one of them off the coast of Morocco for company Genel Energy in which Shearwater will do 3D seismic.

The other contract is for an unnamed customer in West Africa, and the two contracts indicate an improving market, writes the company in a press release.
