Torbjørn Kjus gets top position in Aker group

Torbjørn Kjus will not stay unemployed for long. Shortly more than week after he resigned from a loss-making oil fund, he has been appointed as chief economist in the Aker group.

Norwegian analyst Torbjørn Kjus, who last week resigned as head asset manager at a newly established hedgefund, will not stay idle for very long.

Friday, the Aker group announced that it has hired Kjus as its new chief economist. He will begin the new job on Jan. 30.
