Swire Pacific shuts Norway subsidiary: 151 laid off

Singapore-based Swire Pacific Offshore shuts down its Norwegian subsidiary Swire Seabed AS.

Swire Pacific Offshore shuts down its Norwegian subsidiary Swire Seabed AS, which is based in Bergen, as well as the three associated companies Swire Seabed Subsea, Swire Seabed Shipping and Swire Seabed Sea, reports media Sysla.

According to Sysla, the changes will be effective from late February 2020, and Swire Pacific Offshore confirms to the media that the move will cost 151 employees their job.
