Borr Drilling secures newbuild financing

Rig company Borr Drilling has entered a financing deal on a newbuild rig slated for delivery this summer.

Borr Drilling has just landed a new financing agreement pertaining to a jack-up rig currently under construction in Singapore.

The deal entails that existing bank financing of USD 50 million will be replaced by a new take-out credit facility of USD 100 million, which matures at the end of 2021.
