The company is cautiously optimistic about the rest of the year, though it expects to be affected by the coronavirus crisis and oil price plunge.

Dutch offshore company Boskalis has so far seen the coronavirus crisis have a "relatively limited" effect on its business this year, according to an update on the first quarter.

The company does not reveal numbers for its top or bottom line in the update.
