Elon Musk's aerospace company buys two rigs from Valaris

SpaceX, founded by billionaire Elon Musk, just bought two rigs from Valaris. The plan is to use the rigs as floating offshore launch pads for the company's rockets.

Drilling company Valaris has sold two drilling rigs to Elon Musk's aerospace company SpaceX, which will serve as floating launch pads for the company's Starship rocket, writes CNBC.

Last year, SpaceX announced that it was in the process of assembling a team of engineers and technicians to design and build an operational offshore rocket launch facility.
