Like many others, Shell and Uniper want to be a part of the hydrogen business and have thus signed a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities to expedite development in Europe, according to a statement from the German utility.
The MoU concerns finding joint opportunities to connect demand from industry and transportation to hydrogen supply, production and storage. Germany and the Netherlands are the main target markets, while other European countries are also potential areas for developmet.
