Norwegian offshore carrier Siem Offshore sees a need for consolidation in the market for offshore vessels after a boost in operating result in the second quarter of 2021.

Siem Offshore joins the choir of offshore carriers reporting increased activities in the market.

The carrier's fleet of offshore supply vessels (OSVs) delivers an operating result of USD 11.3 million in the second quarter of 2021 against a substantial operating deficit of USD 240.9 million in the same period last year.
