Maersk could be headed for a larger-scale entry into offshore wind than previously reported. Rumor has it that the shipping company is behind a large wind turbine installation vessel, which will most likely be operated by Maersk Supply Service. Maersk declines to comment on the rumors to ShippingWatch.
There are indications that Maersk could be headed for an even bigger entry into offshore wind than previously reported – with an order for one of the wind installation vessels to the tune of billions of Danish kroner.
US Coast Guard accuses former Maersk captain of sexual harassment committed against a chief cook in 2021. The captain denies allegations but can lose his license, show legal documents. Maersk has already sided with chief cook.
Despite the recently implemented embargo, Russian oil can still end up in EU ports – for instance in mixed products from former Soviet states. EU regulation on the area is still unclear, say sanctions lawyers.
