Maersk's offshore carrier wants piece of giant North Sea offshore wind market

Maersk Supply Service, which is strongly pursuing a US market presence with a major investment in a wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV), is also pointing its gaze toward a large-scale offshore wind expansion in the North Sea.

Here, four EU countries plan to increase the offshore wind capacity significantly to 150GW ahead of 2050. In addition, the UK also means to considerably expand its offshore wind capacity.
