Siemens Gamesa has awarded a firm contract to offshore wind carrier Cadeler to transport and install 60 offshore wind turbines at the Moray West wind farm off the coast of Scotland, the shipping company informs in a statement.
Installation of the 60 model SG 14-222 DD units totaling 882MW will begin in early 2024, with vessel Wind Orca tasked to carry out the job.
