Norwegian Dof Subsea awarded billion dollar contract

An order for four vessels from Brazilian oil giant Petrobras sends USD 1.70 billiion into the pockets of Norwegian Dof Subsea.


Norwegian Dof Subsea, which specializes in owning and operating offshore vessels for the oil and gas industry, is pleased to announce the company's largest order ever.

The order comes from Brazilian Petrobras, which has ordered four new pipelay supprt vessels for the offshore installation of flexible pipes, and the order brings billions of dollars to the the Norwegian-French joint venture between Dof Subsea and Technip, a major player in the oil and gas industry.
