Statoil spends USD 2.43bn on offshore wind farm

Another giant wind mill project in the North Sea will see the light of day, as Statoil and Statkraft will erect The Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm of the coast of Norfolk, UK. The project is valued at USD 2.43 billion.

With Statoil and Statkraft’s decision to build The Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm of the coast of the UK town of Norfolk, another major offshore wind farm is set to hit the North Sea. Plans for the project, which is valued at USD 2.43 billion, has just been green-lighted by both companies.
