Siemens lands major order for Dutch wind farm

Siemens Wind Power will supply 144 MW wind turbines for new Dutch offshore wind farm, with the Danish Export Credit Agency (EKF) putting up guarantees for more than USD 90 million.

After more than 18 years of talking about the offshore wind farm Westermeerwind in the Netherlands, the project is now set to be realized, says Westermeerwind in a statement after the consortium of international and Dutch banks have settled the USD 414.3 million in financing.
