Oil service company Welltec finished the 2nd quarter 2014 with a record-high revenue and operating profit (EBITDA), a development the company attributes to continued growth in advanced intervention solutions and growth in the company's strategic initiatives.

EBITDA was strengthened by the sales mix as well as improved capacity utilization and operating efficiency, says Welltec in its 2nd quarter interim report, which also contains an increased full-year forecast for 2014.
