Statoil awards new Sverdrup contract to Samsung
Samsung has just landed one of the big contracts from Statoil on behalf of the big Johan Sverdrup project. The Korean supplier will build decks for two platforms for a total of USD 890 million.

On behalf of the partners in the giant Johan Sverdrup project in the North Sea, Statoil has selected Samsung to be the supplier of decks for two platforms in the large oil field, according to a statement from Statoil Tuesday.
