
The UK energy company SSE will become the new co-owner of the big Laggan-Tormore gas field off the Shetland Islands of which Dong Energy owns 20 percent. The field is one of the largest projects for the Danish energy group.
In the deal - which also includes the nearby fields Edradour and Glenlivet - the British company has taken over 20 percent of the project from French Total for USD 881 million.
