North Sea rates unaffected by widespread anchoring

With Norway’s Siem Offshore as the latest example, anchoring of supply ships in the North Sea seems to continue unabated. But the large and increasing number of idled ships in the North Sea has not led to a rise in rates in any way, according to the most recent figures from Clarksons Platou.
