Rolls Royce Marine to axe even more employees

The dire state of the Norwegian offshore sector is taking yet another toll on the UK-based engine manufacturer, whose Norwegian marine unit Rolls Royce Marine will lay off 150 employees.

Rolls Royce's marine business in Norway is once again slashing employees as a consequence of the still-miserable offshore market.

Around Christmas, the company sent close to 400 employees on extended vacation, and now 150 employees will be made redundant, reports Norwegian media NRK.
