Viking Supply Ships moves closer to recapitalization

Distressed offshore carrier Viking Supply Ships has reached a principle agreement with its banks for the company's future financing, but the carrier still needs final approval. The annual report has been postponed.

After struggling offshore carrier Viking Supply Ships had to postpone deadlines with lenders on multiple occasions, the deal which will set the pace for the carrier's future has now moved one step forward.

Viking Supply Ships informs in a press release that a principle agreement has been reached with its banks. However, the deal still needs several approvals before it takes effect.
