Maersk Oil slashes employees across three cities

The oil company has announced a new round of layoffs, this time cutting 40 positions in offices across Aberdeen, Copenhagen and Stavanger.

The sliding oil price continues to hurt employees at Maersk Oil. This time 40 positions will be cut from the company's offices in Copenhagen, Aberdeen and Stavanger, informs Maersk Oil in a statement. This is far from the first time that CEO Jakob Thomason has brought bad news to his employees.
