Aker pushes for merger of Norwegian offshore carriers

On Monday, creditors rejected the rescue plan at offshore carrier Rem Offshore. Now Kjell Inge Røkke and his Norwegian oil company Aker are waiting in the wings. Aker is pushing for a merger of Rem Offshore and another ailing Norwegian player, writes media Sysla.
