Prosafe looks ahead following Q2 profit and a refinancing deal

The market for offshore services remains difficult, but a new financing agreement means that Prosafe, which provide accommodation vessels, can look forward to a brighter future. And the company achieved profits on operations and the bottom line in the second quarter of 2016.


Prosafe, which leases accommodation vessels to the offshore sector, looks set for brighter days after a difficult period in which the low oil price has caused major problems for the Norwegian company.

Tuesday this week, the board was able to report that it had reached a deal with its banks which mean that it has now secured financing until 2020.
