Shell is now pumping oil from the world's deepest oil field
Shell has now begun oil production at the world's deepest underwater oil and gas field in the Gulf of Mexico almost three kilometers below sea level. Over the course of the past three years, the company has invested billions of dollars in the project and Shell assesses that it will be an important source of growth for the company going forward, reports the Guardian.
