Shell axes 255 jobs in Norway

The expectation that a sufficient number of employees would accept an offer for voluntary resignation was not fulfilled. Now Shell is trying again.

In spite of voluntary severance packages offered to employees, Shell in Norway did not succeed in its first attempt to reduce staff to the desired extent.

A second round has therefore now been initiated, reports Norwegian media Sysla, which writes that a total of 225 jobs face termination.
