Rem and Solstad cleared for merger

Rem Offshore and Solstad Offshore were granted approval from shareholders on Monday for the planned merger. Brothers Åge Remøy and Stig Remøy are not pleased, however, that Aker Group will take over Rem Offshore.

The merger between two Norwegian offshore carriers, Rem Offshore and Solstad Offshore, was given the green light this Monday during an extraordinary general assembly.
