DP World to Djibouti: Doraleh concession still valid

DP World insists that a concession arrangement for the container terminal in Doraleh in Djibouti remains valid. The Djibouti government refuses to acknowledge the outcome on an arbitration case in London that sided with the Dubai-based port operator in the dispute.

The protracted dispute between Dubai-based DP World and the government of Djibouti concerning control of a container terminal in Doraleh continues.

DP World insists that Djibouti government's decision to terminate a concession contract to operate a container terminal in Doraleh violates international law, says DP World in a press release published two days ago after an arbitration court in London on Thursday ruled in favor of the Dubai-based terminal operator.
