Port of Gothenburg set rail volume record in 2019

The Port of Gothenburg had a record-breaking level of rail traffic in 2019, while total freighted tons suffered a bit, with the port receding 4 percent.

Railroad traffic at the Port of Gothenburg beat all records in 2019, when 456,000 teu were transported through the port.

According to a press statement issued by the port, that is a record-breaking volume, and compared to 2018, it is an increase of 14 percent.
