CMP warns that 40 employees will be sacked in Malmö

Copenhagen Malmö Port has already taken a number of measures to get through the corona crisis, but cost-saving plans and state-provided aid packages are not enough to prevent layoffs.

40 employees will be dismissed from Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) as a consequence of the coronavirus outbreak, the port company says in a statement. Malmö staff will be the ones hit by the layoffs.

Chief Executive Barbara Scheel Agersnap expresses regret that there is no other solution than firing employees.
