Port of Rotterdam reports substantial volume growth

The Port of Rotterdam has seen volumes soar over the course of 2021.

The Port of Rotterdam has had plenty of work so far in 2021, as volumes have surged compared to the same period last year.

The port, which is the largest container port in Europe, handled 118.5 million tonnes of goods in the third quarter. This represents a 14.6 percent increase from the same period last year, the port writes in an update published Tuesday.
