Port of Gothenburg projects container rebound

A long-term slide in container traffic seems to have halted at the Port of Gothenburg, and the port also reports growth in oil products and throughput of new cars in the first half of 2015.

Sweden's largest container port noted an improved container traffic this year, which has otherwise been slowing down since 2013. The growth occurred in the second quarter 2015, in which the port handled 213,000 teu compared to 209,000 in the same period 2014, informs the port in a press release.
