APM Terminals acquires Grup Maritim TCB

Maersk Group's port and terminal unit APM Terminals has signed a deal to acquire Grup Maritim TCB. The transaction includes 11 container terminal facilities in a variety of countries.

APM Terminals has signed an agreement to acquire Barcelona-based Grup Maritim TCB and its portfolio of container facilities.

The transaction includes 11 container terminals with a total annual throughput capacity of 4.3 million teu, informs APM Terminals in a press release Tuesday.
