DP World only sees modest 2015 growth

The port terminal operator DP World handled 46.5 million twenty foot containers in the first nine months of the year, reveal third-quarterly results. This is an increase of 3.2 per and satisfactory considering the difficult macroeconomic environment, says the CEO.

Things did not grow quite so fast for Dubai company DP World in the third quarter, which saw softening growth rates across the terminal operator's portfolio.  In the third quarter of 2015, DP World handled 15.8 million teu adjusted for new capacity against 15.7 million teu in the second quarter of 2015, according to the published results.
