DSV confirms private proposal to acquire Panalpina

The logistics company eyes significant potential in a merger with Swiss-based Panalpina, says DSV in a notice to the stock exchange in which it confirms that it has made a "private proposal."

DSV confirms that it has made a proposal to acquire Swiss-based logistics major Panalpina.

The Danish logistics and transport group says in a stock exchange notice Wednesday morning that it has made "an indicative and private proposal to Panalpina's board of directors to acquire Panalpina." DSV has not yet received a response to its proposal, says the company.
