Monjasa moves ship to Panama

Monjasa has transferred a ship from West Africa to Panama, where it carried out its first fuel supply off the coast of Balboa, Friday. Monjasa now has three vessels in the area.

Danish bunker group Monjasa has moved a ship permanently to Panama as part of its strategy ahead of 2020, when the new sulfur regulations for marine fuel enter force.

The ship, Accra, will be moved permanently from West Africa to Panama. It was built in China and is almost nine years old. The capacity is 8,800 dwt, informs Monjasa in a press release.
