Britannia bags Singapore underwriter license

Authorities in Singapore have given the UK-based P&I club license to underwrite insurances in the island state. The license comes shortly after the company received a similar license in Hong Kong.

Britannia P&I Club has secured a license to issue insurances in Singapore, says the company in a press release.

The Singapore office will handle Britannia's members in the Southeast Asian nations as well as India and Australia. The office will also assist in cases where claims happen Southeast Asia.
