Panalpina confirms preliminary talks with logistics company Agility

Panalpina, currently being pursued by DSV for a takeover, confirms talks with Kuwaiti logistics company Agility. Discussions are at a preliminary stage, says the Swiss freight forwarder.

Logistics company Panalpina confirms Friday that it is in talks with Kuwaiti logistics provider Agility Group.

"The board of directors of Panalpina confirms media reports that it is in discussions with Agility Group on potential strategic opportunities with regard to their respective logistics businesses," writes Panalpina in a brief statement in response to reports by Bloomberg, which cited unnamed sources.
