Kuehne+Nagel transported more containers in the first quarter

Kuehne+Nagel raised its revenue in the first quarter, though the bottom line slipped a little. In Ocean Freight, container volumes grew 6.2 percent in the period.

There was again growth on the top line at logistics company Kuehne+Nagel, though the company noted a slight setback on the bottom line in the first quarter, shows the interim report.

Revenue for the group came to CHF 5.2 billion (USD 5.1 billion) in the first quarter of 2019, up from CHF 4.9 billion in the same period the year before, corresponding to an increase of 7.7 percent.
