Bigger focus on Sweden in Dachser strategy

After several years in Denmark, German logistics company Dachser now eyes a new and considerable potential in Sweden. A five-year plan and a new terminal will pave the way, says CEO of Dachser Nordic, Finn Skovbo Petersen.

Global logistics company Dachser has been present in Denmark since 2005, and over the last five years the family-owned German group Dachser has invested USD 45.4 million in new buildings in Kolding and Hvidovre, Denmark. Now the company is investing in new facilities in Gothenburg, and the next step is to become a major player in Sweden, says Finn Skovbo Pedersen, CEO of Dachser Nordic.

"Sweden has - compared to Denmark - a higher focus on industry, and the country lacks the alternative that we believe we can provide," he tells ShippingWatch.
