
Swiss transport and logistics group Kuehne+Nagel finished the 1st quarter with a disappointing top line, though the company achieved a surprisingly big profit, according to the company's interim report, published today, Monday.
The company had a 1st quarter revenue of USD 4.7 billion, compared to expectations of USD 5.95 billion, according to Bloomberg. Operating profits (EBIT) came to USD 216.6 million, compared to an expected USD 218.8 million.
