DSV grows 10 percent on sea freight

Logistics group DSV improved its revenue in the first quarter. "We see growing optimism and healthy growth rates in the transport markets," says CEO Jens Bjørn Andersen.

DSV's sea freight division grew 10 percent in the first quarter, according to the transport and logistics group's interim report, published Wednesday morning.

Net revenue in the firs quarter for the company's Sea & Air division came to USD 928.8 million, up from USD 873.3 million in the same quarter 2013, while the company's operating profit increased to USD 57.3 million, compared to USD 51 million in 2013.
