DVB Board of Directors hires new shipping chief

Germany's major bank DVB has hired Bart Veldhuizen of shipping consultants Swaen Marine for the bank's Board of Managing Directors. He will replace Ralf Bedranowsky as responsible for shipping and offshore financing.

The former founder and owner of London-based shipping advisory firm Swaen Marine, Bart Veldhuizen, joined German bank DVB's Board of Managing Directors on April 1st 2015, according to a statement.

Bart Veldhuizen will take charge Bank's Shipping Finance and Offshore Finance divisions going forward, thus replacing Ralf Bedranowsky, who will now assume responsibility of DVB's risk management, among other tasks.
