Oil boomer Welltec: 2015 is highly uncertain

Oil service company Welltec now notes the diving oil price. The company took a hit on revenue as well as profits, and on this background Welltec declines to speculate about the full-year 2015 result.

Following several years with constant growth, Welltec now notes declining activity in the company's markets, and that the oil price is finally impacting the service company. In fact, the current market is so uncertain that Welltec declines to speculate on results going forward.

"Due to the current environment and significant uncertainty prevailing in the market, Welltec remains unable to offer a qualified guidance for the full year 2015," says the company in its first quarter 2015 interim report, published Thursday.
