Scan Global sale could kickstart expansion in Asia

The sale of Scan Global Logistics to US-based AEA Investors could kickstart plans to expand the business in the Nordic region and in Asia, CEO Nielsen tells ShippingWatch.

With the divestment to US equity fund AEA Investors, Scan Global Logistics now has the time to carry out its long term plans.

The transport and logistics company has been owned by Danish equity fund BWB Partners since 2006. However, the fund has been looking for a buyer for several years and has now succeeded with the US fund, which is taking over the company along with its management.
