Svitzer brings in global head of decarbonization from Hempel

Maersk's towage operator Svitzer has appointed Gareth Prowse as global head of decarbonization. Prowse joins the firm from marine coatings manufacturer Hempel and will be responsible for a new sustainability strategy at Svitzer.

Svitzer is beefing up on sustainability. The Maersk-owned towage operator has hired Gareth Prowse as head of decarbonization, and he will develop a new sustainability strategy for the firm, Svitzer reports in a press release.
